The boys soccer team had a big win over Oswego on Thursday, September 19 at Fulton's complex. The Raiders won 2-0 thanks to junior Ethan Caruana.
Caruana had both goals and one was from 20 yards out.
The Raider energy was solid through the entire game. Caruana said, "My team stepped up early in the game and I was able to capitalize early." He emphasized how much of a momentum shift his 20-yard goal was.
Junior Dominic Abbott watched from the stands and said, "Ethan is the best player from Section 3." Caruana dominated on both offense and defense.
Senior Mark Tallents said, "Overall, we played well, we possessed the ball, and were able to create more opportunities on goal." He was very happy with their big win.
The Raiders were looking to capitalize on their momentum going into this week's games against Auburn, JD, and ESM. With a 5-0 win against Auburn now under their belts, senior Sam Cary said, "We have to get focused for JD and ESM."
The boys are excited and ready for a big week. They play JD on Thursday night and face ESM on Saturday. Good luck, Raiders!
