On February 8, GRB's varsity cheerleaders competed at South Jefferson for the Section III title.

"What matters the most is we did our best and had fun with what we were doing," sophomore Lizzy Chrisman said.

They competed against four other teams and ended up taking third place.

"I was there at the competition. All the teams competing did an amazing job and I'm proud of the girls. Watching the competition definitely made me miss being on the team," senior Tory Paro said.

Central Square took first place, Oswego took second, Fulton took third, Cortland took fourth and Jamesville-Dewitt took fifth.

"I love being on JV and being able to support Varsity at Sectionals. I can't wait until I'm on Varsity competing for the title," junior Maddy Johnson said.
