On Saturday, May 18, at 9 a.m., a complimentary team breakfast was held at Mimi’s Diner in Fulton for the varsity boys lacrosse team. Owner Chris Sachel offered the free meal before the big sectional game at 12 p.m.

Junior Hayden Sachel stated, “My dad gives out a free breakfast to every Fulton sports team that qualifies for Sectionals.”

Not every sports team knows about this, but Mr. Sachel likes to give back to the community however he can.

Hayden also stated, “it’s a great tradition to have a team breakfast before a big game.”

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and with a good meal comes good energy.

Junior CJ Andreotta stated, "It was a great experience. It gave all the guys time to relax and just talk so we could bond off the field, as well as giving everyone a reassurance that our team is a family."

Junior Domenic Dashnau stated, "It was definitely filled with laughter and it got us loose and ready for the big game that day and we came out nervous, but we finished strong with the win."

The boys got to have a good team bonding experience that morning before hitting the field.
