Wrestling Careers Continue

By Camrin Galvin

With Fulton wrestling comes success on and off the mat.

Fulton seniors Cole French, Andru Walts, and Camrin Galvin have all committed and have decided to continue their wrestling career and take it to the next level.

French was a 2x Class A champion, 1x division one section three champion, and a 2x rep at the NYSPHSAA tournament. He had a great high school career, finishing with an overall record of 111 wins and only 50 losses. French has decided to attend Niagara County Community College. He said, “I chose Niagara because they have one of the best jucos [junior colleges] in the country and I am getting a bachelors in education."

Andru Walts was a 3x Class A champion and a 1x NYSPHSAA tournament state rep. Walts had an overall record of 131 wins and 38 losses. Walts has decided to attend Alfred State. He said, “I wanted to go to Alfred State because I like the school and know a few people going and I think it's going to benefit me. The wrestling team isn't that great, but this year they should be better."

Camrin Galvin was a 4x Class A champion, 3x division one section three champion, and a 2x NYSPHSAA tournament placer. Galvin had an overall record of 161 wins and 54 losses. Galvin has decided to attend Gannon University. He said, “I chose Gannon because I wanted to get out of New York, but also not be too far and I love the area the campus is located. When I went on my visit to Gannon I felt like it was home and that I fit in there great. The coaches and guys on the wrestling team are great and they have a great team."

Congratulations to these three men and best of luck!
