The freshman class has already held a lot of fundraisers and there are more coming to support them in the future.

They are selling chocolate-covered pretzels and Smencils. Both are only $1. For the scented pencils, they only have the “smart” peppermint scent smell left. They are great #2 pencils and would be a good choice for a Regents exam.

There are also upcoming fundraisers at Fajita Grill and Mimi’s. The one at Fajita Grill will occur May 21 from 5-9 p.m. and the Mimi’s fundraiser will happen on May 29 from 12-9 p.m.

Freshman Class advisor Mrs. Lazarek said, “The Freshman Class fundraising goal is $2,000 and we fund raise for events that take place junior and senior year.”

Mrs. Lazarek noted, “We will hold elections at the end of this school year. Anyone interested in running please see me for more information.”
