Virtual Bodley's Got Talent Ahead

By Leah O'Hanlon

On Friday, May 15 at 7 p.m. the WGRB Facebook page will be airing Bodley's Got Talent for everyone to see. For the first time, GRB's annual talent show will be a virtual event. Although this is not what many people were expecting, it will be interesting to see how it turns out.

HOPE Club Advisor Ms. Palmer said, "I think this really opens up the talent show to a lot of variety and I am very excited to see how it turns out." Many students are able to submit their talents that may not have been able to be showcased if Bodley's Got Talent was on stage. From singing and dancing, to art and athletics, there are no restrictions on what students can submit this year.

Senior Alexis Barth, who has participated in Bodley's Got Talent for her entire high school career, said, "I'm really glad Ms. Palmer is putting this all together. I think it will be a great chance for the community to get some entertainment and for people to connect."

Sophomore Kieran O'Hanlon said, "Even though I'm not participating in the talent show, I am going to watch it. I think it's cool that our school is still making an effort to have fun things for us even though we aren't able to be there in person."
