Members of the Class of 2023 are selling chocolate-covered pretzels. Don't they look great?

Freshman Class Fundraising Underway

By Ian Bogardus

The freshman class is off and running with several fundraisers this year.

On October 21, Chubby's will be hosting one from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Chocolate-covered pretzels will be carried around by freshman class officers and are for sale for one dollar during lunches. Freshman class advisor Ms. Arduini will have them in her room, as well.

Domino's is also hosting a fundraiser for the class on November 19.

There have been three officer meetings and they are held every other week on Thursdays. There has not been a selection of class officers, but Sutter Lewin, EJ Seale, Megan Acker, Mali Lamanna, and Alexis Durval have been top contributors to class activities.

The freshman class made a 60 dollar profit selling leis on Tropical Thursday during Spirit Week. Their goal is to make $2000 dollars this year.

Ms. Arduini is looking for people to request flavors for the next order of Gertrude Hawk chocolate bars.
