Mrs. Blake has joined GRB this year as the school's nurse.
She actually used to be a student here at GRB back before she went to college to study for her nursing degrees.
She chose to come back to Fulton for many reasons. She said, “I’m a Fulton graduate, I live here, and it would only make sense if I worked at the school I used to go to.”
Mrs. Blake also noted, “It is a great environment being back, but the school has changed so much since I have been here.”
Outside of school, Mrs. Blake said she enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids (two girls and a boy) and she is expecting a baby in February. She spends a lot of time driving her kids to all their sports, which she greatly enjoys. Mrs. Blake also coaches youth soccer.
She has been nursing for 10 years, having spent the last nine and a half years as a nurse at Upstate University Hospital.
She studied at Crouse Hospital School of Nursing and has a developmental psychology degree from SUNY Oswego, as well.
Junior Brian Sullivan said, “She is very nice and cooperates with her students and is very flexible with her work.”
Please give Mrs. Blake a warm welcome back to our school as our new nurse.
