New Flavors Added at Library Cafe

By Trevor Schleicher

At the start of the 2018-2019 school year, the GRB Library added a student lounge where students can sit and hang out, get work done, or talk with others. In addition to the lounge, a small cafe was also added. Students can purchase coffee, hot chocolate, and tea for one dollar. If students bring their own cups, the price is only 75 cents.

Recently, the Library Club conducted a poll for the addition of a new coffee flavor that will be sold in the Library Cafe. During that poll, students had the ability to put a tally next to one of the flavors that they most wanted to be added to the menu of possible choices. Two coffee flavors were added to be purchased. Those flavors are Triple Chocolate and Caramel Creme. The proceeds of these two flavors helps support Pride Club.

Librarian Mrs. Scalfaro, who is in charge of the Library Club, said, “We are always looking for feedback and ways that the Library Cafe can be improved for the students.”

Senior Chris Schreck said, “I really like buying the hot chocolate. It’s quick, easy and convenient to get. It is good, as well."

Senior Jon Simpson, who tried the new Caramel Creme flavor, noted, “It has a really good flavor. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to others.”
