Now that school has been closed for a few months, I realize how much I actually enjoyed school. Or, at least, how much I enjoyed certain aspects of school. Personally, I miss spending time with my friends during lunch and study hall. Besides that, I miss some of my teachers that I liked to talk to during class. I only wish I knew that the last day I was at school was going to be my last day of high school forever. If I knew then what I know now, I definitely would have cherished it more.

I am not the only student who misses parts of school. There are other students who share this feeling.

“I mostly miss my friends, really” junior Damien Hickman said.

Senior Kayleigh LaBeef feels the same way and said, “I miss seeing my friends and teachers."

Senior Allie Nichols said, “I miss being able to spend time with my friends during study hall and going to BOCES."

It is unfortunate that seniors like myself were unable to say their goodbyes to staff members, but we can remain hopeful for the graduation ceremony. All we can really do is show support to our seniors and wish them the best throughout this troubling time. Thank you to those who have given their love and support in the meantime.
