Raiders Remain Undefeated

On Saturday, December 7, the Raiders participated in the Cato duals at Cato-Meridian High School.

Starting out, the Raiders took on the West Genesee Wildcats and achieved an impressive win with a score of 70-16.

In the second round, they wrestled Mynderse beating them 84-6.

In the third round, the Raiders took on Hannibal/Cato and pulled out a win with a final score of 75-6.

Round four was against Central Square and the Raiders destroyed them 71-9.

The fifth and final round was against Red Creek and the Raiders won 84-6.

The Raiders went 5-0 on the day destroying every team they faced, bringing home first place and a MOW (Most Outstanding Wrestler) trophy which went to senior Cole French.

On Monday, December 9, the Raiders took on the Auburn Maroons. This was a special night because there a recognition for Fulton's 1990 state championship team.

The Raiders came out and demolished the Maroons 77-6.

Coach Mills said, "Hopefully we can continue to build our momentum moving into this weekend's Linda Stuart duals where will will face our first big test against the number-six ranked Massapequa Chiefs."

Senior starter Ian Bogardus said, "We've been wrestling great, but we need to have a great week of practice and get ourselves prepared for this weekend."
