I think during this time we all can find that we have realized we take the time we share with our friends for granted. I think that they are what I miss most now that I can't see them.
The first thing I'm going to do after the quarantine is over is I'm going to celebrate my birthday with friends since we can't celebrate on my actual birthday. I plan on having a few people over to have a fire and dinner. I know I'm not the only one who has missed out on a special occasion or time with friends and family due to the virus.
Senior Macy Middleton stated, “ I plan to hang out with my friends and catch up for all of the lost time.” Since Macy and I spend almost the entirety of our free time together, we talk everyday to make plans on what we are going to do after this and what our plans are for the future.
Senior Ysaline Navet said she really missed "going to school and seeing my friends every day."
Senior Andrew Smith stated, “This was supposed to be my last year of all county orchestra and my first year of all county choir. So not only am I missing out on that, I'm also missing out on my last year with Mr. Nami as well as Mrs. Edele. I'm also missing out on time to talk with my friends before I go off to college.”
It is clear we all miss each other and the time we spent together and I feel that until something is restricted or taken away, you never truly know the significance of it.
