On Tuesday, May 22, the Fulton Red Raiders varsity boys lacrosse team took on Fayetteville Manlius at Liverpool for the semi-finals.
Even though the Raiders started out with positive attitudes, they were not able to pull out a win in the end. Though they had a tough loss, the boys are very grateful for the season.
Senior Nick Noel said, “It was a great last season. We came together as a team and did way better than people thought we would. Although our last game didn't go the way we wanted, we were a good team and played hard to the final whistle.”
Although everyone is sad that the season is over, they are thankful for what the season brought.
Senior Evan Kistner stated, “Nobody wants their season to end. We made it to the semi-finals when no one thought we would even make it to playoffs. If I had the chance to do it over again, I would in a heartbeat and I wouldn't want to do it with any other group of guys.”
Although it did not end the way the team hoped, congratulations to the boys for a great season!
