Some of GRB’s own varsity lacrosse players played in a tournament held and put on by LeMoyne College’s men’s lacrosse team over the Columbus Day Weekend.
The Fulton Laxers were part of a three-school combined team made up of Fulton, Oswego, and Central Square. The boys played games against some of the area’s more traditionally rich lacrosse programs such as Marcellus, Baldwinsville, and CNS.
Even though official scores were not kept, Coach Koproski was very impressed by how competitive the boys played.
Up next for Fall Ball lacrosse is the annual trip to Tully, NY for the Cornfield Classic Invitational. The tournament is held yearly for scholastic high school programs where coaches from all around the country for Divisions 1, 2, 3 and Junior colleges recruit players to play at the next level. It will be held at Tully High School on Saturday, November 2.
