Win After Win for Boys Basketball

The varsity boys basketball team recently went on a seven-game win streak.

They were ranked number five in all of Section III out of thirty teams. They are behind Whitesboro, Bishop Grimes, East Syracuse-Minoa, and Jamesville-Dewitt.

This is the first time in a while that Fulton has made it in to the rankings on Syracuse.com.

Also, for the first time ever, for the state rankings, Fulton was recognized as an honorable mention of all the Class A teams in the state.

"I’m really, really proud of how hard our team has played and their commitment level during the seven-game win streak," Coach Broderick said.

The streak lasted from December 23 to January 24.

"It's so much more fun cheering when the boys are winning. Most of our cheers make sense when they're winning so we not only have more cheers to do, but we're also able to get the audience more involved," senior cheerleader Abbi Wood said.

The team has worked hard all season, but unfortunately, their seven-game win streak came to an end on January 31. They lost to Jamesville-Dewitt, ESM, and Central Square.

"We're still going to finish strong," senior Michael Janaro said.

Congratulations and good luck to the boys varsity basketball team as they wrap up their season!
