As students are adjusting to the new year at G. Ray Bodley, the students at CiTi are doing the same thing. CiTi offers many exciting hands-on opportunities and experiences for all of the programs they have.
Programs such as early childhood education, nursing, and welding are taught there. Students from CiTi are typically the most excited for upcoming internships. Madison Watkins, a student in the early childhood program, said, "The best part about it would be engaging with the children on internships and getting to be a special person in their life if they don't have one at home. The opportunities are awesome."
This is Watkins' second year in the program so she knows what to expect. First year students who attend feel a little differently about starting their journey with CiTi.
First year nursing student junior Jayda Borrow said, "I'm excited, but really nervous for what to expect and what the residents will be like." Just like with any new experience, these students are nervous for what is to come.
Another first year student, junior Katie Bevacqua, feels the same way. She stated, "I'm scared that I won't be any good or that I won't enjoy it, but I know once I get used to it I will be fine."
Although nerves are high, each and every CiTi student is excited for the new year and what it will bring.
