CNY Stem Connection and Crouse Health are hosting an event for middle and high school students, teachers, and parents. This event is providing exposure and education to all of the different health care professions.
CNY Stem Connection is a program designed for developing and retaining STEM talent in CNY for economic advancement.
On April 2 at 6:30 p.m. at West Genesee High School, Crouse Health is trying to widen the knowledge about health care to people all over the community.
The health care professions that will be covered are Neurosurgery, Respiratory Therapy, Nursing, Professional Education and Development, Health Information Management, and IT.
Principal Mrs. Parkhurst stated, “I encourage students to attend, including those who are still undecided in a career interest, and especially those who may have an interest in these careers.”
Students who are unsure of what they want to do after high school should take the opportunity to learn about different careers and broaden their horizons.
