On Monday, January 28, twenty-eight members of the junior class were inducted into the Joseph Campolieta Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS).
The four pillars NHS stands for are scholarship, leadership, character, and service. The NHS members from the Fulton City School District are great examples of what NHS represents.
Over the following year, the new inductees will begin to complete their required 12 hours of community service, while the senior members will finish completing their hours.
The event was a success and most participants were pleased with the outcome of the ceremony. Senior Shaylee Cealie, who is the Parliamentarian of NHS, said, “I think the event went very well and I am excited to welcome many new faces into our school’s chapter of NHS.”
Senior Abby Cuyler said, “It was well organized and a nice ceremony.”
Senior Jenna Ruzekowicz said, “It went well. Short and sweet.”
The new inductees of NHS include Nathaniel Archer, Rebecca Bailey, Brittney Baum, Selene Belrad, Samuel Cary, Dawson Curtis, Julie Duval, Kaylee Foster, and Madison Gilmore.
