Do you want a summer job for six to eight weeks where you can earn minimum wage? Oswego County Workforce is offering job opportunities to people ages 14-24. This program offers a variety of jobs from yard work, cemetery work, or work for the school district. To be eligible for this work, you must meet one of the following criteria: Low Household Income, TANF (public assistance), SNAP (food stamps), Medicaid, HEAP, Foster Care, or SSI.
To qualify, you must attend a work readiness and payroll enrollment workshop. The Deadline for all applications is June 20, 2019. Applications can be picked up in the Counseling Office.
Return the entire application packet to the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP), Oswego County Workforce NY, 200 North 2nd Street, Fulton, NY 13069. If you have any questions, you can call (315) 591-9076 or (315) 591-9000.
School-Home Liaison Ms. Weston said, "Students just need to fill out the application and give it to me and I will submit it to Oswego County Workforce."
