The Easiest Part of Being Home

By Hailey LaClaire

Since students and staff have been staying at home for these past few months, many of us have already established new schedules for the time being. Some of us may have even taken up new hobbies or interests to help pass the time.

While staying at home, I’ve managed to practice art quite a bit more than I could before. It’s so much easier to get other things done when you have the extra time to use up.

For me, the easiest part of being home is that I don’t have to get up at 6:00 AM anymore. Instead, I can get up whenever I please so I’m less tired throughout the day. Staying at home is surprisingly much easier than I, and many others, would have thought.

“The easiest part of staying home to me is being able to practice my writing a lot more often,” junior Evlynn Cappelletti said.

Junior Damien Hickman said, “Since I’m home all the time now, I’ve been able to complete more achievements in my favorite video games.”

Senior Allie Nichols said, “Staying home has given me more time to try out my makeup skills."

Even though being stuck at home may seem rather gloomy or boring, the students of GRB have been able to turn this into an opportunity to be productive and spend more time doing the activities they enjoy. With that being said, make sure to spend this time wisely and try to enjoy yourself as much as you can!
