On February 1, Raider wrestlers traveled to Onondaga Community College for the New York State Duals. The Raiders were going into the tournament with a win-loss record of 30-1 and drew the sixth seed out of twelve teams.

In the first round, the Raiders wrestled Patchogue-Medford. The Raiders fought very hard and won matches when they weren't supposed to, which led them to a victory of 55-19.

In Round Two, Fulton had to wrestle number three-seed Horseheads. The Raiders were not concerned at all about this team. They came out and picked up a lot of great wins leading to a victory over Horseheads of 61-20, which placed them in the semis.

Round Three was the semis and Fulton had to wrestle number two-seed Fox Lane. This match was close and came down to the last match. Going into the final match the Raiders were up 39-33 and starting 99-pounder freshman Freddy Pagan had the weight of the team on him. Pagan did not have any hesitation, however. He went out there and pinned his opponent in a minute and thirteen seconds, putting the Raiders in the New York State finals.

In the finals, the Raiders faced number one-seed Minisink Valley. The Raiders put up a great fight winning a couple of big matches, but came up short of their goal, losing 42-25 and finishing second in New York State. Coach Mills said, "We improved on our performance from last season by making the finals. Unfortunately, we fell short of our goal."

On February 8, Fulton traveled to Watertown for their Class A tournament, which is to qualify for the Sectional tournament. The Raiders put on a great show, putting eight kids in the finals and seven of those eight kids won, including Dominick Hofmann, Andru Walts, Samuel May, Cuinn Burlingham, Camrin Galvin, Ian Bogardus, and Matt Woodworth.

Coach Waldron said, "Hopefully we can build off of our performance from the State Duals leading into the individual post season."

Junior Cameron Lugo said, "I thought we fought very hard and won a lot of matches that weren't supposed to be won."

The Raiders also won the tournament as a team, dominating all teams by multiple points. Next, the Raiders will be traveling back to Onondaga Community College on February 15 for Sections.
