When the boys varsity soccer team played Whitesboro on October 25, the boys left with a 1-1 tie and a loss during the penalty kick and, unfortunately, they will not be advancing to Round 3 of Sectionals.
Varsity Soccer Coach Mr. Murray said, "The boys played their tail off and they left everything on the field and they really deserved an opportunity to win."
"The season didn't turn out how we all wanted it to. Losing in penalty kick is the worst way to end a season, but I'm proud to say we left everything out on the pitch that night and I'm thankful to have been a part of such a successful program," Senior Team Captain Mark Tallents said.
The 2019 varsity soccer season ended with a 9-8 record and with the boys' heads held high, ready to take on whatever next season brings.
