As I look back on my life at this time, I will remember all the horrible things that have recently happened. These events happened so fast without warning, like coronavirus, riots, the Black Lives Matter movement, not having an actual graduation, and having my senior year shortened by almost half the year.
I think the one thing I will remember the most that is most important to me is the Black Lives Matter movement because that's what really matters, the hundred of thousands of people fighting against the justice system treating them unfairly and killing them.
Senior Nevaeh Tucker said, “As I look back on my life of my senior year I will remember not going to school with my friends, getting my lunch with my two best friends and going to Ms. Hawley's to eat, and seeing the movement sparked by George Floyd's death.”
Senior Sydney Lawson said, “I will remember not graduating with my best friends Nevaeh Tucker and Andru Walts. I was planning for this day when I was in Pre-K and now that plan has come to an end and it's very upsetting.”
Although there have been negative moments, most people have many positive memories to enjoy.
