Raider Bowlers Take Home Wins

Raider bowlers have had two recent matches in the last week. They started on Friday, December 13 playing against Baldwinsville at home. Both boys and girls shutout Baldwinsville 3-0.

Sophomore Alexis Ingersoll led the girls throwing a 649 series with a high game of 236. Sophomore Jaden Harrington and seventh-grader Addison Nichols both contributed by putting up a set of 500 series.

Leading the boys team to their victory was junior Mitchell Donaldson with an outstanding three-game series that totaled up to a 724 pin fall. Donaldson put up a high game of 255, as well. Sophomore Mark Smith and junior Owen Sheldon each had a 600 series with Smith having a high game of 252 and Sheldon with a high game of 238. The rest of the boys' starters threw a 500 series.

On Tuesday, December 16, the Raiders took on Fayetteville Manlius at home. The boys team took the win with a score of 2-1 with Donaldson throwing a high game of 233. He and Sheldon each threw a 600 series. Smith and senior Sean Flynn both ended with a 500 series with Flynn having a high game of 244.

The girls pulled out another shutout victory, 3-0, with Ingersoll having another solid performance throwing a 600 series with a high game of 226. Also helping the team get the win were Harrington, freshman Miranda Laws, and Nichols, who all threw a 500 series.

The bowlers will be back in action following the holiday break!
