On December 13 and 14, the Raider wrestlers traveled to Colonie, New York for the Linda Stewert Duals.

The second round they wrestled Burn Hills, winning a close one with a score of 42-30, with six pins, one major decision, and one decision.

In the last round of the first day, the Raiders took on Queensbury, picking up an impressive 71-9 win. They collected nine pins, one technical fall, one forfeit, and one decision.

Starting off day two, Fulton wrestled against Colonie, beating them 66-15, collecting eight pins, two decisions, and two forfeits.

Round two of the second day they wrestled Greensville, winning 66-6. The Raiders put up eight pins and six forfeits.

In the third round, the Raiders wrestled Division, winning 71-8. They picked up eight pins, one technical fall, and three forfeits.

In the final round of the tournament, the Raiders had to take on the defending New York State Champions, Massapequa. They put on a very impressive performance knocking them out with a win of 44-27.

The Raiders picked up a lot of very important bonus points during this dual meet, which led to their success. They picked up five pins, one technical fall, and three decisions. Senior Nick Parrish had a great match holding off one of Massapequa's best wrestlers to only a major decision, which was huge for the Raiders.

Coach Mills said, "Going into the match we knew that we needed to be the ones that scored the bonus points. Everyone on the team did their job and we came away with the win."

Coach Waldron said, "It was nice to take out the team that beat us in the state semi-finals last year. I'm very proud of these young men."

Senior Ian Bogardus said, "I am happy that we got revenge, but we still have to improve in some spots to come out on top at the end of the season."

The Raiders will be headed to Amsterdam on Saturday, December 21 to compete against multiple teams.
