Have you ever wanted to give money to a good cause while also looking good? There are many websites that allow you to buy a clothing item or an accessory with a portion of the profit going to a good cause.
Ivory Ella is a clothing company that was started by an entrepreneur named Esma Ilyas. She gathered a group of her friends after learning the sad reality of the ivory trade and the common mistreatment of elephants. This company has donated 1.6 million dollars toward “Save The Elephants”, a foundation dedicated to protecting Asian elephants. Ivory Ella sells a range of clothes and accessories from leggings and sleepwear to backpacks and popsockets.
Another clothing brand that supports a good cause is Paws, otherwise known as “Paws for a Cause." Their mission is to help and bring awareness to homeless dogs and cats that are at kill shelters. Ten percent of their net profits go to animal shelters around the United States. Paws representative Maddie Wilson stated, “We have donated $350,000 since 2015. The number we have saved thus far is a small feat considering how many animals we wish to continue to save." This brand offers clothing from women's t-shirts to men's long sleeved t-shirts. They also sell dog and cat-themed accessories.
Happy Sloth Co. also helps animals. Happy Sloth Co. is a company that donates to sloth conservation and protection in Costa Rica while also inspiring youth to find their passion. They donate 10% of their net profits to sloth conservation. Everyday they are working toward creating awareness for animals affected by deforestation. This brand sells shirts, pants, hats, and accessories like water bottles and keychains.
A popular brand that gives back for a good cause is Iheartdogs.com. This brand believes that all dogs matter, no matter the size, breed, or age. This brand wants people to wear their clothing to spread awareness about pet adoption and how it should be a first choice when considering a dog for a family. This brand also raises money so shelters have quality food for their dogs. Every article of clothing bought from Iheartdogs.com provides a certain number of meals for shelter dogs.
