The girls basketball team has been working hard this season. Their record for this season is currently 6-7.

The game on January 14 was an away game against Cortland. The team tried their best, but didn't pull out the win.

The loss was a tough one, but senior Bernadette DeMott said, "We are getting better at playing as a team and that really showed at our game last night."

Junior Dom Abbott said, "They played hard, but just didn't execute it at the end."

The next girls basketball game is Friday, January 24. They're playing Jamesville-Dewitt at home.

Junior Lexi Patterson said, "We've been working hard this season. It's been a year of growth for our team, but we've had a lot of fun."

The girls are really fun to watch. If you have a chance, make sure to go out and see a game.
