On Monday, January 28, members of GRB’s Pride Club attended the Principal’s Roundtable meeting to discuss inclusivity.

Principal Mrs. Parkhurst and Vice-Principal Ms. Stephenson sat down with Pride Club Advisor Mrs. Scalfaro and students Jack Hall, Jadelyn Phillips, Selene Belrad, and Molly Metcalf to talk about the ideas of Pride Club.

Hall came up with the idea to start an elective class regarding the LGBTQ+ community. This class could include different health classes and the science regarding the different changes. The students were informed that it can take years to start a new class.

Guest speakers are being talked about to come in and visit health classes to speak about their experiences.

Mrs. Parkhurst heard out suggestions and has said they were great ideas that she would explore.
