Many students in G. Ray Bodley’s Wind Ensemble and Concert Band played in Brass Bash. Brass Bash took place at Syracuse University at Hendricks Chapel at 7:00 p.m.

The Syracuse University Trumpet Ensemble, Oswego, Central Square, North Syracuse, Liverpool, and the Syracuse University Brass Ensemble also performed.

The Fulton ensemble played three songs in this “Night of Brass.” Those songs consisted of "Basse Dance", "Yesterday", and "Africa."

The group consisted of trumpets, trombones, a tuba, and a drummer. All grade levels 9-12 participated in this event.

The concert ended with everyone who performed at the concert uniting as one sound to perform the song, “We Are Queen”. This portion of the concert is called the Mass Bash. There were over 150 musicians that performed including teachers, high school students, and college students.

Senior Ryan Barry stated, “I really enjoyed Brass Bash this year. We sounded great and I enjoyed hearing the other groups perform.”

Junior Alex Blaine noted, “I really enjoyed playing in Mass Bash this year and being able to hear how loud the instruments can play when they unite as one."

Sophomore David Cordone added, “This was my second Brass Bash and I enjoyed this one even more than last year. The songs we played were a lot of fun to learn and perform."
