Mentoring is back for the year!
The mentoring program gives younger children an opportunity to interact and even play with older students. Mentoring also gives older students a chance to become a role model for children and hopefully have a positive impact
Mentoring advisor Mrs. LaDuc said, "The goal of the program is to give students at the elementary school a role model and someone that they can talk to on a regular basis, someone to play games with, someone to help them with their school work, and doing anything they can to put one more positive force in their life."
One GRB mentor said, "Mentoring is all about helping children, and making sure they have someone to talk to in times of need."
Mentoring advisor Mrs. Cronk said, "Mentoring is an easy and a fun way for a high school student to help out a young person in our community. It can be rewarding for both the young person, as well as the high school student."
Mentoring occurs every other Tuesday. Stop by Mrs. Cronk room or Mrs. LaDuc's room if you are interested in participating.
