Did you know that every Monday and Wednesday there is a Homework Club that helps with any homework or class assignments you may have? Yes! It's true.
The Homework Club meets in room 121 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. so you have enough time to get help with your homework, eat a snack, and catch the late bus home. It also has many teachers who come and help out with specific assignments.
According to ENL teacher Ms. Turley, "This is a really great way to support our immigrant students along with any other student who may need some help after school. Students collaborate, they bond, and of course it is a wonderful opportunity to practice their conversational English."
Senior Adonis Morales Marroquin said, "Going to Homework Club makes it easier to finish my work."
Junior Gisela Tomas Merida said, "Not only is it a helpful resource, it also is a place to relax and make new friends."
Gaby Ramirez Vasquez loves how noisy it can be with so many students and teachers assisting each other, because when she arrives to her own home, it is quiet again. It really can become very loud, but everyone enjoys their time there.
Now that you know there is a Homework Club, please stop by, bring your homework, have a snack, and maybe we can help you! Hope to see you soon!
