Don't Wait to Get Your Tuxedo

It's that time of year again! The corsages are being designed and the dress shoe stores are selling out. It's the season for our juniors and seniors, and some underclassmen who have been asked to attend, to go get fitted for their tuxedos.

Getting a tux that fits the right way is always difficult. There are so many variables to look for like whether it fits comfortably and won't suffocate you when you're eating or whether you'll split your pants doing the Pop, Lock and Drop It.

Below are actual reviews of tuxedo shops located in and around Syracuse, New York.

Golden Gate Bridal

This tuxedo shop is in Oswego and has 129 reviews with an average of 3.7 stars.

Marian Wallace wrote a review with 5 stars saying, "Thank you Golden Gate Bridal and Staff... His tux fit him perfectly and looked amazing on him ! The staff was super nice and attentive. We could not have been happier with the service we received. Highly recommended...We will be back for future bridal and prom needs :)"

Rebecca Sheldon gave the location one star and said, "I went to this boutique during their normal scheduled business hours. Both times it was closed... I was lied to about them being able to order what I needed and I was also lied to about the hours by an employee and their hours posted. They clearly are not looking for business. Very unprofessional and not anywhere I will ever try to do business again..."

One review from Adam Garza was a five star review and said, "Perfect fit and perfect for my grandson's first tux, it was cheaper to buy than to rent!"

Another review from Jessica Hemm was the lowest review the store's tuxedos have gotten at three stars and said, "This is a nice looking jacket but I ordered a size 38R and I reckon I got something more like a size 34. I had to return it, and I instead purchased a 38R Stafford jacket in a store where I could actually try it on. I do not know whether the jackets run extremely small or whether this was mislabeled."
