The long-awaited spring break is here. Everyone is hoping for better weather this year. It is looking somewhat promising with weather reports calling for a few nice days. Students get an extra day off this year because there is no school April 15-19 and there is also no school the Monday following Easter, April 22.

Many students and teachers across the building are looking forward to a week away with a vacation, but many of them are staying local and enjoying their nice week off from school with their families.

Senior Kelly Caza said, “I’m not going anywhere but I’m looking forward to relaxing, hanging out with my friends, and staying home with my new puppy.”

Senior Hayley Vann stated, “Over spring break I’m getting my wisdom teeth removed. Then I am going to West Virginia to visit my sister’s new apartment.”

Senior Jenna Ruzekowicz said, “Over spring break I will be studying, studying, studying! I have a shift at the pool but other than that I will be hitting the books and filling out scholarship applications.”

Senior Quynn Sweeney said, “I am taking a trip from my bed to my fridge with a layover at my couch.”

Enjoy your ten days off and come back ready to roll for the final eight weeks of classes of the school year!
