He was excited to be sharing the spotlight with Emily wanted to congratulated her. "I’m glad we can have this honor together," he said.

Senior Emily Porter has been involved in many clubs and organizations throughout her high school years such as Yearbook Club and Christian Club.

She plans on furthering her academic and musical career at Houghton College where she will double major in Music and Clinical Psychology. She also plans to participate in their first year London Honors Program.

She said, “I hope to study music therapy at the graduate level and become a music therapist.”

She wanted to congratulate Sam, as well. She said, “Sam, I am honored to share co-valedictorian with you. You are an amazingly talented and brilliant person. Thank you for making classes interesting and thought-provoking. I can't wait to hear all the great things you will accomplish in the future. I wish you all the best at Le Moyne and beyond.”
