The Raider volleyball team played their Sectional semis game on Tuesday, November 5 against the Oswego Buccaneers in their home gym.

The Raiders fell short of the win, losing in three sets. They played a hard-fought game and only lost each set by a couple of points.

The score of the first set was 26-24, the second set was 25-22, and the third set was 25-22.

Junior Abby Pawlewicz said, "The loss was not the outcome we predicted, but overall we had a very successful season. It has been about 10 years since we've had a home court advantage, but we just could not finish the plays. Also, a big thank you to the fans for being great supporters all season long."

Senior Sydney Lawson said, "We went in too cocky. You can't expect to win when you're playing a good team. We tried to fight back, but it's like we weren't playing to the best of our ability no matter what we did. There was something everyone could have done better. It was a hard game to leave off on."

Senior spectator Ian Bogardus said, "They played good, but they came up short. The Raiders had a great season."

Overall, the Lady Raiders had a great season with a record of 11 wins and 7 losses.
