On Friday, October 4, students at G. Ray Bodley had a night to remember at the annual homecoming dance.
The homecoming dance was full of festivities including tasteful music, fun decorations, and even refreshments such as pizza and drinks.
Junior Jayda Barrow said, "I loved going to the dance and having the opportunities to make memories with friends."
Junior Donald Austin stated, "I do not understand why people would not want to go to the dance. It is a chance to just relax and have fun."
The DJ at the dance is what some students really enjoyed. Junior Katie Bevacqua said, "At first, I thought they were just going to play really old songs, but got excited when some good ones came on."
Student Senator Advisor Ms. Florio said over 400 students attended the dance. She noted it was "a great celebration of school spirit."
Be sure to pay attention for more after-school events, even if it is out of your comfort zone. Every opportunity is a chance to have a good time.
