If students are wondering what to do this Friday evening, the Snow Ball will be a great place to be. The dance is taking place February 8 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Future Business Leaders of America Club (FBLA) will provide free snacks and drinks in the GRB Cafeteria.
Junior Mackenzie Birdsell, FBLA President, said, “The colors will be blue and white with plenty of winter decorations. The theme was not Valentine’s Day so people don’t feel like they need a date to attend.”
Tickets will be five dollars and dressing up is optional. All students are welcome to attend.
Club Advisor, Mrs. Ferlito said, “High school dances are a time for students to get together to enjoy each other’s company, meet new people, dance and listen to their favorite songs.”
The FBLA Club has been planning for about a month or two and Birdsell said the night will be “busy, fun and memorable. FBLA has worked hard to create this dance as fun and perfect as possible for students and we hope they attend.”
Freshman Marissa Bowering, who will be attending the dance, said, “I am very excited because with all the stresses of school, it seems like an opportunity to just have some fun.”
In addition, if anyone has song requests, Mrs. Ferlito said to just make sure there is a clean version for the DJ and let her know.
Grab a friend or come alone, but join everyone at GRB this Friday for a night of dancing, music, friends, and memories that will last forever.
