Bowling Teams Looking Strong

The bowling team is looking good early on in the season. There are a couple standouts on the boys and girls team.

One Monday, December 9, they took on Syracuse at home. On the boys team, some high series scores were Mitch Donaldson with a 631, Mark Smith with a 631, and Josh Sokolic with a 620 series.

On the girls side, Lexi Ingersoll had a 673 series, Jaden Harrington had a 639 series, and Addison Nichols had a 492 series. Harrington bowled a 257 in game 1, setting a new personal record,she also had a streak of 8 strikes in a row in that game.

On Tuesday, December 10, they traveled to Central Square.

On the boys team, Mitch Donaldson bowled a 768 series and Josh Sokolic bowled a 607 series.

Fulton won both of the matches. The boys team left with a 3-1 record, while the girls team remained undefeated at 4-0.

The match on Wednesday, December 11 was at home against Oswego. While the boys lost the match with a hard fought 1-2 on the night, the girls won their match again, 3-0, making them undefeated at 5-0 on the season.

Mitch Donaldson led the boys with a 666 series, followed by Mark Smith with a 618 series. Josh Sokolic hit a 578 series and Owen Sheldon hit a 563 series. Sean Flynn rolled the first two games at about 150 each, then yielded his spot to sophomore Caleb Crandall who hit a 156 in his first competitive match.

The girls team rolled past Oswego in all three games, led by Alexis Ingersoll with a 705 series, Miranda Laws with a 551 series, Addison Nichols with a 501 series, Jaden Harrington with a 456 series, and Sarah Gigliotti with a 447 series.

Both teams will meet Baldwinsville on Friday, December 13 at Lakeview Lanes at 3:45 p.m. Best of luck to all the bowlers.
