Students and Staff Display Raider Pride

By Andru Walts

Raider Pride is taken very seriously in our school. Many students and teachers have been participating in the monthly Raider Spirit days by wearing Fulton apparel.

The next spirit day is Friday, March 27 and all students need to do is wear Fulton gear. They are then able to put their name into a raffle during lunches.

Five dollar gift cards are given out for two students in each grade and they are for different fast food places.

Also ahead is a Spirit Week beginning on March 16 and ending with a pep rally on March 20. There will also be a semi-formal dance on March 27 from 7-10 p.m. in the cafeteria.

One of the recent winners was senior Cam Warren and he stated, “Just got lucky, that simple. Put my name in a jar and won."

Junior Sammy McRae, Student Senate President, said, “ We are trying to raise more school spirit and pride through these different raffles and activities. We want people to be proud of their school.”
