Around the holiday season, everyone seems to have a favorite tradition or two. That is no different for everyone at GRB.
Both staff and students had awesome stories and traditions to share related to what they do around the holidays.
Down in the library, Ms. Wilmot explained her tradition. She said,"Every year we go to my sister's house and do a Christmas cookie exchange. It is really fun to see the different cookies everyone brings."
She added how this year for the cookie exchange her sister hired a photographer to capture the precious moments.
Senior Abbi Wood always gets excited about her tradition. She stated, "My family goes to Goodman's Christmas Tree Farm every year to get our Christmas tree. We have a rule where if we do not spend at least an hour looking for a tree, then it definitely is not the right one."
This is a tradition that Abbi says she will remember for the rest of her life.
Principal Mrs. Parkhurst shared one of her traditions, as well. She said, "Every Christmas morning I make cinnamon rolls."
Everyone has different traditions for the holiday season, but each one is special.
All of us at RaiderNet wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season!
