Bodley's Got Talent is the annual talent show that HOPE Club hosts. It allows students to show others their talents while raising money for charity at the same time. There are three judges every year and this year's judges are Mrs. Cronk, Mr. Morse, and Frau Ruggio.
This year, HOPE Club picked the two charities the event will raise money for and they decided on the YMCA Girls Rock Program, which is local, and The Spring: Charity Water. All money that is raised will be going straight to these two charities. Sign-ups to be a performer concluded this week.
HOPE Club Advisor Ms. Palmer said, “We were looking for students with all types of talents, including singing and dancing, playing instruments, comedy, magic, and more.” Any type of talent was welcome and encouraged for the talent show.
Senior Mike Newton said, “It is a great opportunity for students to show everyone that each person has something they are good at. People also genuinely appreciate seeing the talent, especially from high school students.”
It costs $5 to get in and watch the talent.
Mark your calendars for Bodley's Got Talent on April 26 at G. Ray Bodley High School at 6:30 p.m.
