Students listen to a recent presentation about the New Visions program.

Finding New Visions

By Lilly Alton

On Wednesday, January 15, juniors had the opportunity to learn about the New Visions program and what it has to offer.

New Visions is a program that allows students in their senior year to attend school, but at SUNY Oswego for college credits and to start their career.

There are two different paths to take, either the allied health program or the specialized program.

The allied health program includes all health-related careers. The specialized program offers different choices from areas of interest, which pertain to interior design, engineering, accounting, business, and much more.

These programs are very highly recommended by GRB's school counselors as they allow students to have the opportunity to have internships and see everything about their area of interest.

Applications are available in the Counseling Office and are due February 24. Stop down to talk with your counselor for more information.
