Valentine's Day is widely known for being “the lover's holiday” or a day to celebrate your love for your significant other. Couples around G. Ray Bodley are showing their appreciation for each other in many different ways.

Junior Lyle Beeman said that he and his girlfriend are “going to exchange gifts, see a movie, and go out to dinner.” Going out for a romantic dinner is a very popular thing to do on this holiday.

Senior Kaleb Calkins said, “My girlfriend and I are going to be watching movies at home to celebrate."

If you are single on Valentine’s Day, do not be disappointed. This holiday can also be celebrated with friends or family. On Valentine’s Day, if you are single, don't let it bring you down as many people are buying gifts for friends and family, like candy, flowers and stuffed animals.

Senior Aiden Franco said, “I’m going out to dinner and a movie with a group of my best friends."

Other people are getting gifts from their parents like candy and stuffed animals.

Have a great holiday, whether you are in a relationship or single, on Valentine's Day, February 14!
