Mrs. Motyka is a new business teacher here at GRB.

Mrs. Motyka has been teaching for 27 years. She may be new to the Fulton City School District, but she is not new to the area.

Before she taught in Fulton, she taught at Waterloo High School for 16 years. She explained she grew up in Palermo and went to Phoenix schools, where she graduated in 1985.

Mrs. Motyka just got married. She has a daughter who is a sophomore at Keuka College. As a family they all like to go camping and kayaking. She enjoys gardening, both indoors and outdoors.

Mrs. Motyka said she wanted to be a teacher so she could share her love of business subjects and computers with students.

She said, "I get to work with students everyday and help them learn something new that will either help them in their own lives or help them 'work smarter not harder.'" She noted this is her favorite part of being a teacher.
