Boys Basketball Finishes Great Season

By Breahna Boots

On February 25, the varsity boys basketball team competed against Jamesville-Dewitt and, unfortunately, came just short of the win.

"We're so proud of our community and student body that came out. Those that were there really showed their support tremendously. Our students that came, not only came on a school night, but also came with a whole bunch of energy that inspired our guys to play as well as they did," Coach Broderick said.

Seniors Trey Paget and John Halstead assisted with coordinating the student body and helping to keep energies high.

"I honestly think our student section was louder than theirs. It sucks the boys lost, but they've played amazing this season and I loved coming to watch them play at a majority of their games," senior Samantha Humphrey said.

Toward the end of the fourth quarter, Fulton was down by about four points. Throughout the game, they were down by at least 10 points twice. The final score was 62-51.

"For years, Jamesville-Dewitt has been the best team in the section. They're at the top of the mountain that we're trying to climb," Coach Broderick said.

Congratulations to the varsity boys basketball team on all of their accomplishments this season, especially their 13 wins!
