The boys track and field team had a very good season, ending with an overall record of 4-3.
There were two meets that were cancelled so it was a shorter season this year. This year both girls and boys track from GRB had a fundraiser against Oswego for St. Baldrick's and the teams raised around $1100.
After their meet at Oswego, Coach Wasacz said, "I am extremely proud of everyone, especially the people who have stepped up in the absence of a lot of our injured and sick runners."
Sophomore Ben Demars got second in the Pentathlon at the League Invite. Senior Raiden Hansen got third in the 400m at Leagues, as well.
Ethan Lacostro scored fifth place in the high jump with a jump of 5'6" and Cyrus Trude scored sixth with a jump of 5'6".
Senior Andrew Hyde ran the mile and the two mile. Senior Bailey Hourihan ran the 800m coming in fifth place with a time of 2:03.00. Caleb Clarke also threw shotput at Sectionals coming in sixth with a throw of 38'1".
With some meets getting canceled and members getting injured, this season of track and field still was a successful season overall.
