GRB Celebrates Students' Success

Students at GRB had an excellent first marking period with lots of them making honor roll and high honor roll and many students having great attendance.

In the freshman class, there were 38 students who made honor roll and there were 71 who made high honor roll.

In the sophomore class, there were 42 students who made honor roll and 46 who made high honor roll.

In the junior class, there were 56 students who made honor roll and 81 students who made high honor roll.

In the senior class, there were 26 students who made honor roll and 82 students who made high honor roll.

As a school, 442 of 959 students had an overall average of 84.5 or better, which was 46% of GRB.

There were 317 students who earned VIP status, which is 95% attendance, 95% on time to school, no major referrals, and all grades 70% or better. These students were recently honored with a catered lunch of a macaroni and cheese bar.

Students also celebrated great attendance throughout all grades during the first marking period.

Perfect attendance (100%): 254 students (26.5%)

Exemplary attendance (96-99%): 327 students (34.1%)

Commendable attendance (91-95%): 137 students (14.3%).

Senior VIP John Halstead said, "The mac and cheese slapped." In other words, he thought it was great.
