Regents Week is Fast Approaching; Are You Ready?

By Abbigayle Wood

There will be no classes during this year's Regents Week, which will be January 21-24.

January 20 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day and school is not in session.

Students have to come into the high school if they have to take a Regents exam, but students will also be coming in to complete and hand in assignments, re-take course exams, complete science labs, and to review mid-year grades.

The first semester ends on Friday, January 24.

During Guided Study Hall on Monday, January 13, students will be making sure they know what Regents exams they need to take and will schedule times to work with their teachers. All students need to make sure they know when they need to come in.

Students have been gearing up and should be studying for their tests.

"I have been studying every night for my history Regents and I'm hoping I pass," senior Chad Mansfield said.

Junior Madison Johnson said, "I'm going to kill my English Regents. I am so ready!"

"I am so ready to pass this Regents," junior Crystal Bolland said. Bolland will also be taking the English Regents as the entire junior class will take the test the morning of January 21.

Many students shared positive vibes about the upcoming Regents week. Good luck to all students as they take exams and close out the first half of the year!
