The PSAT is available for all juniors and select sophomores to take at no cost to them on October 16.
The exam will be held in the main gym and will run from approximately 7:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The PSAT is a great opportunity for students to practice for the SAT, qualify for scholarship opportunities, and to help identify areas of weakness for next year's SAT exam.
Students do not need to sign up for it.
School counselor Mr. Nofal said, "I think the PSAT offers students a great opportunity at no cost. Once students receive their scores, they have access to Khan Academy, which provides free test preparation based on the questions they got wrong."
He added, "Preparing for the future can never start too early and this is a great opportunity."
