Are you Ready for Graduation?

By Hailey Nugent

As senior year comes to a close, seniors are all full of emotions that are good, bad, and scary. Growing up can be terrifying for so many reasons.

Everyday we get closer to the end of our high school career and even closer to moving on to something big and new, but how will we handle it?

Some believe "new" can be intimidating and you may be worried about your plans after high school. Others are more than ready to move on to bigger things. Many are just going with the flow of life.

As of Wednesday, March 13, we have only 100 days until we walk across the big stage to get that piece of paper that states that we made it through every single math test, every failing grade, all the nights of overwhelming amounts of homework, and every early morning.

I know what I have been thinking is, “Wow, this is really happening.” It feels like just yesterday we were 14 years old and moving up to the “big kid” school and it felt like we had so much ahead of us, but now we are about to face life and independence and finances and all the lovely things that come along with being an adult.

I know many of us are thinking that we aren't prepared for what comes next and I can't sit here and give good advice to our readers because I'm in the same boat and I don't have a single clue what the future is going to bring. All I do know is no matter how worried we are, things will fall into place and we will get to where we are going.

Hang in there, everybody. We will get there soon enough.
